I travel the globe in search of images that inspire, motivate and educate, using my camera as an access tool that allows me to investigate and document the world around me. By photographing, my eyes are opened to new things: new ways of life, new scenery, new forms of seeing the world. Through these humbling moments, I aim to create work that makes viewers think, learn and appreciate.

I have had experience in the field as a university professor, a photo editor intern for National Geographic Society, a photographer's assistant, an expedition leader, a workshop instructor, an exhibiting artist and a freelance photographer. I received my MFA in Photography from the Savannah College of Art and Design and I am currently based in Florida.
